TEAMS

TEAMS: (technology, engineering, art, math and science)
TEAMS class is part of the exploratory/arts team for kindergarten through fifth grade. In class we focus on skills including project based learning, keyboarding skills, coding, 3-D printing/designing. Integrating technology with CKLA domains, science, math and reading is a key component when teaching students. Students hear common language both in their homeroom and in TEAMS class through integrated engaging hands-on projects.

Amy Bradbury, TEAMS Teacher
My name is Amy Bradbury. I have been teaching for 21 years. Both of my parents were educators which fueled my desire to study education in college. I went to undergraduate school to srudy educational policy and community studies at UW—Milwaukee and finished my masters in curriculum and instruction at UCCS. I have taught various grade levels kindergarten through fifth grade and currently teach tech integration (TEAMS). In TEAMS class students learn how to code, 3-D print by using a CAD program to design, and keyboarding. TEAMS is centered around project based learning pertaining to what they are currently learning in class. I am fascinated with the latest in technology and enjoy teaching students how it applies to the real world. It’s a passion to create life long learners.
